Following the previous year's regional evaluation, the BBC News commissioned this UK-wide study, to explore outcomes of their School Report project for pupils and teachers in more detail. The findings identified a range of ways that teachers and pupils were involved in this implementing this project, a useful match of project practices to the four national curricula in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, and statistical evidence that indicated significant gains in a range of skills and knowledge, including high levels of understanding and awareness of news production and processes.
