Supporting young people who were not in education, employent and training in ways that would effective uses technologies was higighted by previous reports as likely to be challenging in some respects, yet redwarding in others. This study, commissioned by Becta, explored the readiness of local authorities to be involved in developing these practices, and sought to gather a landscape review of existing practices at that time.
