This project is an attempt to produce a "streamlined" version of Ian Macneil's essential contract theory, and proposes a four norm model of contract relations to replace the 14 or so norms proposed by Macneil. The project has resulted in a paper given to the SLS Annual Conference, Durham, September 2007, and an article currently undergoing peer review.
