This programme of qualifications has been introduced to meet the Continuing Professional Development needs of experienced professionals in Adult Literacy, Numeracy and ESOL (ALNE). It offers a flexible opportunity for advanced training in Adult Literacy, Numeracy and the teaching of English to Adult Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). As a Masters in ALNE it will build on initial training qualifications in the field and enable practitioners to specialise in their particular area of experience and practice. The programme is modular. Each module can be taken free standing carrying the value of 20 credits or built into a rage of qualifications: This allow people to build up short courses over time to complete a qualification.
