This project will build on the work of my ‘start-up’ project, aiming to pick up the momentum of and embed this scoping work both within and out with the Higher Education Sector, by fostering and growing networks and relationships that will have an impact on knowledge exchange in a leadership, gender and diversity context.
These networks and relationships already contribute to the discourse around leadership diversity. However, the value of this project will be to enable me to pull together a host of interested parties and channel their work into a more cohesive framework and to disseminate my research to a much wider audience, thereby exchanging knowledge in a most productive manner.
My work is situated in an emerging conversation across public, private, commerce and voluntary sectors about the ‘missing women’ at the top of organisations and the value of diversity in leadership overall.
