EPINET introduces the notion of *epistemic networks* as a way to conceptualise complex developments within emerging domains of innovation, as well as within the practices of evaluating their progress and outcomes. The aim of the project is to bring together a range of assessment methods and develop criteria for more socially robust and efficient interactions between critical evaluations, policy making, and the world of innovators and research leaders.
