This project is to explore the folklore and anecdotes about the Harry Potter series encouraging boys to read fiction. We are collecting questionnaire data from one primary and two secondary schools in the NW of England, and will be running focus groups with Harry Potter 'enthusiasts'.

We will be reporting on the research to date at the Research in Gender, Language and Sexuality group on Wednesday Jan. 16, 2-3.30, Bowland North SR9.
