Linking the GEPT listening test to the Common European Framework of Reference

Project: Non-funded ProjectResearch

1/04/1231/12/13

This funded research project aims to conduct a linking study, relating the listening tests of the General English Proficiency Test (GEPT) to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The study follows the methods and procedures set out in the document 'Relating language examinations to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: learning, teaching, assessment' (Council of Europe, 2009). In addition, it involves an innovative research design marked by twin-panels operating synchronously, and the evaluation of the suitability of different standard setting methods for the GEPT context.
