Multilingual French Identities

Project: Non-funded ProjectProjects

24/02/13 → …

This research cluster has grown from the Multilingual French Identities project set up by Charlotte Baker and Delphine Grass in 2013. The project so far has involved the organisation of an international conference in January 2014 http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/fass/events/multilingual-identities/ and several publications, including two special issues co-edited Dr Baker and Dr Grass.

The Multilingual Communities project moves beyond the French and Francophone world so as to invite comparative analysis of multilingual spaces, communities and creativities across cultures and languages. It aims to address a number of methodological and theoretical issues relative to Modern Languages scholars conducting research in an international and global context.
