Trace gas emissions from Amazonia influence secondary organic aerosol (CLAIRE UK)

In this project we will measure the emission rates of volatile organic compounds from a tropical rainforest canopy in Amazonia to the atmosphere using the method of disjunct eddy covariance with instruments mounted on a mast extending above the forest canopy. We will use a range of modelling tools to assess the impact these emissions have on atmospheric composition and chemistry.
