This collaborative project focused on the contemporary visibility and proliferation of bioart, 'bioart' being the label for the intersection of the creative arts and those much discussed, contemporary technologies aiming to separate and reconfigure the relationship between life and organism.
The project emerged from collaborations with Karen Rader, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Charles Zerner, Sarah Lawrence College, which were first developed in the context of the Thinking about Biology and Politics Today symposium.
