Abstract

This paper provides an overview of factors that impact on disabled students' experience of student support. It considers legislation, policy and provision within the context of disability models and highlights diversity of students' needs and evolving services available during the different phases in the student lifecycle. The paper concludes by suggesting that although getting through the gate is important it is not the last hurdle disabled students have to overcome
