Abstract

The opening chapter of this book sketched a number of ideas that help understand some complex sets of evolving relations: between the activities of networked learning and the physical, digital, social, and epistemic contexts which both frame and are reshaped by those activities. We offered that
introductory account to help new readers approach the subsequent chapters with a stronger sense of the focus and logic of the book. In this final chapter, we want to revisit some of these ideas, and extend them through reference to themes and issues we see emerging in the body of the book, as well as by making firmer connections to some areas of related literature.
