Early Career Researcher. This composition presents a reading of fixed media narrative on post-modern paradoxes of motion, and investigates the transformative potential of fleeting transients, within a narrative system of multiple strata of sonic time and perspective; the notions of observed and the observer, and the dichotomy of bullet trains (shinkansen) and stone gardens. Awarded 1st prize absolute in the 'electro-acoustic, analogical and digital music' section of the IV International Contemporary Music Contest 'Citt' di Udine' 2002 (1500 euros, public performance and CD release by TauKay Edizioni Musicali production on Contemporanea: Sesta Rassegna di Nuova Musica in 2003). Further release on Yachtclub Vol.1 ' Alkumeri, YachtClubRecords, [Yacht-CD001], Helsinki, Finland, 2003. Finalist in the 30th Concours International de Musique et d'Art Sonore Electroacoustiques de Bourges 2003 TRIVIUM A ' Studio Category.
