Abstract

A numerical decimation procedure is applied to a Hamiltonian with diagonal disorder for a square lattice in two dimensions. The renormalized interactions are found to scale towards weak coupling (indicative of localized states) for large disorder and towards strong coupling for low disorder, consistent with previous estimates of an Anderson transition at W ≈ 6.
