Abstract

We discuss methods of fabricating 2D structures from a wide variety of materials held together by strong van der Waals forces. Langmuir-Blodgett deposition is used to fabricate monolayers of molecules on a substrate. Layering together different materials creates new and unique properties that can be used in wide-ranging applications.
