Abstract

A new indium antimonide (InSb) grating is proposed for improved Smith-Purcell (SP) THz radiation. The plasmonic behaviour of InSb at THz frequency is expected to enhance the generation of surface waves in SP-gratings. The response can be efficiently tuned in the THz band by changing the doping level of InSb.
