Abstract

This paper describes international collaborative research which is investigating the development of ludic artifacts (age appropriate toys) to support subjective well-being in older people. Ludic playfulness has been shown to support subjective well-being, encouraging living in the moment through sensory stimulation. The research examines the development of new craft based activities using emerging technologies that enable open-ended non-goal orientated play. Accompanied by a poster.
