Abstract

A novel configuration of klystron (Periodically Allocated Reentrant Cavity klystron) based on the allocation of a number of cavities at a fixed short distance has been demonstrated suitable for millimeter wave amplifications. This paper presents a Periodically Allocated Reentrant Cavity klystron purposely designed for amplification at W-band (94 GHz).
