Following an invitation fellowship in Japan in 2012, this fellowship is an opportunity to reconnect with researchers at JAIST (Kanazawa), Future University Hakodate, and Kyoto University. The aim is to develop an overall conceptual and computational framework to allow the comparison of different kinds of parsing, particularly in the presence of structural ambiguity. This will both allow better understanding of musical parsing and lead to better ways of evaluating and developing models.
