Cicatrius (in)visibles. Cancer de pit and perspectives feministas

Project: Other

Description

This pioneering guidebook in the Spanish territory problematizes the ‘pink culture’ as an entry point and explores the politics of breast cancer research, care and education. Our program includes dissident voices mainly from Spain, but also France, the UK and the USA, including general practitioners, endocrinologists, intellectuals, performers, women diagnosed with cancer, medical physicists, physicians, anthropologists, historians and sociologists. Coincidentally, all of the contributors to this book are feminists and dedicated health activists.
