CQPweb is a web-based corpus analysis system which provides a user-friendly interface to the Corpus Workbench (CWB) system. This interface is compatible with any corpus, but is especially useful for large corpora, corpora with word-level annotation (such as part-of-speech tagging), and corpora with rich text-level metadata.

CQPweb has been adopted as CWB's "official" GUI. It is available as open-source software, so that anyone can download and install it on their own server or computer. However, we also run a CQPweb server at Lancaster (http://cqpweb.lancs.ac.uk); the primary purpose of this server is to support research and teaching at Lancaster University, but external researchers are welcome to make use of the system as well.
