Creating Narratives for Policy, Risk and Uncertainty

Project: Research

Description

‘Creating Narratives for Policy, Risk and Uncertainty’ aims to deepen LU and the Institute for Social Future’s working relationship government agencies futures communities (DEFRA, GCHQ, DCDC, DSTL, Navy) through a series of knowledge exchange activities over a two-day event.
The key objective, aside from futures community consolidation, is the on-going co-development of a ‘toolkit’ of creative futures methods, specifically around the use of narrative for better envisaging uncertain futures and communicating those possible futures in impactful ways.
The event will show-case the strategic collaboration with ISF partner, the theatre company The Knotted Project (TKP) and their Young Company (TYC; a group of 16-25-year-old youth theatre practitioners mentored/trained by the TKP).
