Within Fed4FIRE, Lancaster University is extending and evaluating its OpenFlow-assisted VoD distribution architecture across the geographically distributed testbeds within the Fed4FIRE facility. The experimentation tools of the Fed4FIRE project will be used to evaluate cross-site VoD traffic over the testbeds from both a network and a user perspective. Through the course of this analysis we will be providing feedback on the usability, maturity, performance and operation of the Fed4FIRE experimentation tools.
