The funding will support an FTE for approximately 1.3 months to work on the SHARC prototype software with the aim of making the research prototype stable and therefore more widely deployable.

The research originates from the EPSRC funded project SHARC and other funding linked to Heritage Lottery Funding (HLF). The link to the impact is clear. If the software platform is engineered to be more stable then there are social and economic impacts associated with the work e.g. Licence fee generation that could be used to make the on-going activity sustainable.
