Description

GREAT soght to understand the ways in which being on- and off-grid provide an opportunity to rethink the relationship between people and urban infrastructure in areas of transition in the context of informal settlements in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Layperson's description

The GREAT project brought together four academic institutions, namely, Lancaster University (lead) and UCL in the UK, the Universidad del Valle in Colombia and the Technological University of Havana in Cuba to understand and help remove the barriers that communities from informal settlements face to shape a better future.
