The proposed project builds on Professor Charlotte Baker’s existing collaboration with the UN Independent Expert on Albinism, Muluka Miti-Drummond (2021-present) and the former Independent Expert Ikponwosa Ero (2015-2021). This project supports research and evidence gathering on alternative accommodations for children with albinism at risk of attacks in countries such as Madagascar, to inform evidence-based policy making.
