2nd Bio-Gentle Training Event relevant to Biomolecules (production, properties, separation technologies, applications)
Activity: Talk or presentation types › Business Course/Training
Biomolecules serve society both as high-volume commodities and as low-volume, high-value compounds, playing an increasingly significant role in various industrial sectors, including food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
The aim of this training event is to generate and share knowledge, insights, and practical solutions that support the sustainable production and application of biomolecules across these key industries.
In addition, the programme brings together professionals from both academic and industrial backgrounds, encouraging collaboration and dialogue. This exchange of expertise it is expected to provide new ideas for biomolecules applications and contribute to a shift towards the circular economy.
The current pipeline for large-scale industrial adoption of biomolecules is unprecedented. While innovative breakthroughs are underway, their implementation faces challenges related to funding, timelines, and societal expectations. This training event offers to the participants valuable insights into the significance of these compounds, highlighting their practical applications and equipping attendees with skills relevant to their use across multiple sectors.
The event is designed to promote networking and knowledge exchange. We warmly invite PhD students to present their relevant to this field research through a short oral presentation (6–7 minutes), followed by a brief discussion.
