Within the framework of the UKRI global partnering award, the purpose of this meeting was to strengthen already existing research collaborations and to identify new areas of collaborations, involving the wider UK Ageing Network groups. Day 1 of the meeting was a Research Symposium and day 2 was dedicated to discussion meetings to identify ageing research themes, collaborations and synergies across attendees, and to plan future knowledge exchange, training and grant development events.
