All Kinds of Hands imagined sculpture as something formed by different people. Offering new models for collective making which venture beyond individual vision, works by five artists from across the UK - Ellie Barrett, Nisha Duggal, Beata Podstawa, Assunta Ruocco and Sarah Ryder - presented sculpture as a means of engaging communities, welcoming alternative perspectives, and positioning art practice as a collaborative field. Pieces on display included object-based artworks, sculptural environments and site specific projects exhibited via documentation. All of these approaches are concerned with increasing public access to art making and considering shared experiences - playing, drawing, walking and talking - as existing ways of making.

The exhibition was the second phase in a longer-term project funded by Arts Council England exploring co-production as a method for making sculpture. This project also involved a public playgroup series ("Everyday Play") and concludes with a symposium.
