Stockport Grammar college visited Lancaster University to participate in the Aspirin masterclass. The lab activity features the pH titration of acetic acid and aspirin; the isolation of aspirin from a tablet by precipitation and analysis of the isolated aspirin by TLC and IR spectroscopy.
