Designing Future Cities for Wellbeing

Activity: Talk or presentation typesPublic Lecture/ Debate/Seminar

24/03/2022

This webinar features editors of 'Designing Future Cities for Wellbeing', which, in turn, draws on original research that brings together dimensions of cities we know have a bearing on our health and wellbeing – including transportation, housing, energy, and foodways – and illustrates the role of design in creating cities that can enhance our health and wellbeing. Cities, a complex interplay of these various dimensions, shape and are shaped by existing and emerging city structures, governance, design, and planning. Professors Rachel Cooper and Nick Dunn will explore these interconnecting dimensions and the way in which we think about and design cities for future generations’ health and wellbeing.
