The session discussed the impacts and opportunities brought about by the transition to low-carbon energy for natural capital and ecosystem services of hosting ecosystems. Presentations covered bioenergy, wind energy and solar energy, and highlighted potential land use conflicts and synergies between renewable energies, food production and environmental conservation.
