How does customer analytics affect new product development in the context of certain environmental contingencies?

In the AI in Fashion Symposium hosted by the London College of Fashion, University of Arts London, I delivered a keynote speech on customer analytics (CA) in the context of new product development. Particularly, I talked about the importance of deploying CA and related AI based technologies to understand more about customers and provide them with value in real time with a focus on manufacturing and specifically fashion industry. Some aspects of my talk was based on my paper published in the Technological Forecasting & Social Change journal, which is titled as "Customer analytics and new product performance: The role of contingencies". In this part of the talk, I also explained the significance of deploying CA particularly under certain contingencies which are internal and external to a firm.
