Hull Independent Cinema: Vampire Double Bill + Panel Discussion

Activity: Talk or presentation typesPublic Lecture/ Debate/Seminar

A special event at Hull Minster organised by Hull Independent Cinema. It provided a spectacular space, to the live musicians and panel guests; Irine Røsnes (violin) Jonny Best (piano/Yorkshire Silent Film Festival); Dr Maryam Ghorbankarimi (Director of Film Studies, Lancaster University); Dr Amy Davis (Film Studies Lecturer, University of Hull).

It celebrated the 100th anniversary of NOSFERATU (with live score), followed by a panel on the role of vampires in film and 2014's A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE.

This was organised thanks to BFI and Film Hub North for their support; it's been a pleasure to be part of the #InDreamsAreMonsters programme.
