Keynote Speaker at LUSU Climate Conference 2025

Activity: Talk or presentation typesInvited talk

20/05/2025

I had the honor of serving as the opening keynote speaker at the LUSU Green's Climate Conference 2025, hosted by Lancaster University Students’ Union. The conference brought together students and speakers, including Susanna Dart, Harrison Stewart, Natalie Bauer, and Jack Watson, to engage in meaningful discussions on sustainability topics such as food, biodiversity, transport, and waste management on campus. The interactive event included quick-fire round table discussions, allowing participants to assess current practices, identify barriers to sustainability, and propose viable solutions. The collaborative efforts resulted in a Top 5 list of student demands for improving sustainability practices at the University and LUSU. I am excited to see the implementation of these innovative ideas and grateful to the LUSU Green's team for their role in facilitating this student conference.
