This workshop aims to sensitise participants to practice-based research in the social sciences. After a very brief review of the field, participants will engage in the experience of doing collaborative practice-based research themselves using their own devices, and/or analogue materials (the latter will be provided). Special emphasis will be placed into the „fuzziness“ of practice, thereby resisting the instrumentalization of action, opening up a space to raise significant questions and spark conversations about how to integrate pratice-based research into our work. No skills other than openness, imagination, creativity and respect are needed.
