We sense that cities will become the ultimate destination of future generations and they will play a crucial role in the lives of everyone around the globe. However, there appears to be a significant dearth in the communication of alternative futures that explore notions of collective life beyond 'business-as-usual'. How can we use imagination to develop, share and empower social futures? What methods are we able to employ in order to help coordinate the future (Urry, 2016) and draw on our expertise for the common good?
