We presented the outcome of our project "Lancaster University Refugee Film-making workshops"

Earlier this year, Lancaster University staff Prof Bruce Bennett, Dr Maryam Ghorbankarimi and Prof Emma Rose ran a series of film-making workshops for refugees housed locally. Partially funded by an AHRC grant, in partnership with Lancaster-based charity Global Link, the six-week project culminated in a screening of short films at The Dukes cinema. The project leaders will share insights gained, show some of the short films and reflect on the success of the project and plans for future developments.

Insights Hub partners are encouraged to share information and data (where appropriate) to provide new insights from which ideas, decisions and projects emerge to create positive outcomes for our communities. This sharing of quantitative and qualitive information will enable the network to pursue a variety of tangible initiatives that support shared priorities and aims in a coordinated way.
