Founding co-editor of Leadership. The first issue of the journal was published in 2005, and I continue to co-edit the journal as we move into its 9th volume. Since the initial publication of the ABS list, the ‘Leadership’ journal has been accepted into Thomson Reuters' Social Science Citation Index (in July 2010). ABS automatically graded all journals without ISI inclusion as 1*. As a result of Leadership’s subsequent ISI inclusion, Sage publishers have proposed to ABS that ‘Leadership’ should be upgraded as a 3* journal. In the 2008 RAE all 14 papers published in Leadership’ were graded 3*. In 2012 the journal's impact factor has more than doubled.
