Academic Publishing, Communication, and Funding Development Workshop Series This multi-session course provided early-career researchers with practical guidance on publishing impactful academic work, navigating the peer review process, and building a strategic publication plan for the first 18–36 months of their academic career. Participants explored career-specific communication strategies, including CV tailoring, networking, and personal branding, as well as techniques for engaging with policymakers, media, and the public. The series also covered the fundamentals of securing research funding, with sessions on identifying grant opportunities, writing compelling applications, and fostering collaborations. Resources included planning templates, peer review checklists, and examples of successful funding applications.
