Natalie is a founder and Director of Southgate & Sarabia Architects, based in Manchester. She has worked for over 30 years in the design and construction industry, with extensive experience including Further and Higher Education, Schools, Leisure, Extra care, Commercial Offices, Residential, Retail, and Mixed-use developments, as well as Conservation, Listed building, Regeneration, and Master planning. She has worked for various sized practices and has gained great experience in different types of projects from newly build University buildings to Master Planning and small-town regeneration strategies, where she was responsible for multi-discipline design teams. Natalie is very passionate about sustainability, modern methods of construction, heritage, and regeneration and she is going to talk today about City Campus East for Northumbria University, which won over 30 regional and national awards for design, sustainability, and innovation.
