A series of 3 free, public playgroups at the culmination of my research residency at In Situ. Children aged 0-5 and their parents/carers were invited to engage with "the sculpture kit," a series of 6 everyday materials (masking tape, pipe cleaners, tissue paper, tissue paper, toilet roll and wool). The kit consists of six materials: masking tape, pipe cleaners, tin foil, tissue paper, toilet roll and wool. It was developed in collaboration with my two-year-old daughter. Sessions tested the sculpture kit as a replicable arts-based methodology to facilitate educational experiences which enfold play, making and learning between children and their parents or carers.
