This was the RHCs first local history fair featuring representatives from history and heritage community groups from across the North West. Members of organisations staffed exhibition stands showcasing their work to visitors. 15 local history organisations were represented. The RHC also exhibited, promoting the centre’s activities, events and publications. In addition, the RHC hosted a series of talks delivered by Dr Christopher Donaldson (Co-Director of the RHC), Dr Sarah Rose (VCH, Lancaster University) and Dr Jean Turnbull (Independent Scholar).
