Allyson Fiddler was invited to speak in particular about the women novelists, dramatists, activists, and artists featured in her recent book The Art of Cultural Protest against the Austrian Far Right in the Early Twenty-First Century (Berghahn Books).
Prof. Fiddler considers whether there are feminist strategies at play in the works and phenomena she has analysed for her unique study of cultural protest at the turn of the millennium. A guest of the Brenner Archive, Prof. Fiddler has been invited to address the Gender Research research platform in Innsbruck by Dr Ursula Schneider and was introduced by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research, Prof. Dr Ulrike Tanzer.
