A special informative and interactive workshop about Islamic burial. The session topics will include the legal requirements upon death, preparing the body for burial (bathing and shrouding) and the rules and etiquette pertaining to post-death. The workshop will take place at Lancaster University’s health innovation campus on Friday (14th July) at 6:15pm. Local detective inspectors, a registrar, a coroner, academic researchers, a pathologist and St John’s Hospice have confirmed their intention to attend. The university is allowing use of their high-tech full-size medical dummies.
