The Unsecurities Lab method depends some element of the unexpected, so we deliberately don’t share a lot of information beforehand. But I am sharing below a brief list of the participants and their areas of expertise. If you’re on the list and you aren’t coming, or vice versa please let me know asap.

You will watch an immersive setting of a film and be asked to participate – as a specialist – in a structured conversation over two hour-long sessions.
Throughout, we use the immersive experience of LUMI and visual provocations designed with the artist Abelardo Gil Fournier to fulfil the following aims

To practice foresight at the horizons of data security and environmental change
To explore vulnerabilities and threats embodied in emerging techno-ecological governance
To imagine how presently non-dominant data, sensing and communication practices can be structured as stable habitats

Finally, we ask: What if every environment is directly linked to a technological system, or has security responsibility for itself?
