This presentation is of work undertaken in Lancaster Medical School in response to an open letter from its students urging us to actively tackle racism in healthcare and support students who experience racism. An introduction to medical education, and existing race inequalities therein, will be followed by the story-so-far as we collaborate with our students to investigate, take action and plan to meet this shared goal against the backdrop of a pandemic.
