Architects' Journal is an architectural magazine published in London by Metropolis International. The first edition was produced in 1895.
For the AJ Student Awards 2022, all UK schools are invited to submit a final-year project from two students – one at undergraduate level and one at postgraduate level. An additional undergraduate or postgraduate student can also put forward for the Sustainability Award. In 2022, there was nearly a 100 per cent entry rate, with 56 out of 57 RIBA and ARB-accredited school entering students’ work in at least one of the three categories. For the Sustainability Award, there was a record number of entries, with 45 schools submitting.

Description | The Architects' Journal is an architectural magazine published in London by Metropolis International. The first edition was produced in 1895. Shawn Adams, Edmund Fowles, Diana Dina and Des Fagan comprise the jury for this year’s AJ Student Prize, the winners of which will be announced on 5 October The AJ Student Prize 2022 is being judged by returning judge Edmund Fowles of Feilden Fowles and 2020 student prize-winner Shawn Adams, who is a speaker, writer and architectural designer and co-founder of PoOR Collective. They are joined by Diana Dina, head of sustainability and regenerative design at Haworth Tompkins, and head of architecture at Lancaster University Des Fagan. The jury will be chaired by AJ deputy architecture editor Fran Williams.
