Ruth is invited as plenary speakerat the Conference 'Media's Role for Democratization in Post-Conflict Countries in the Age of the 'Global War on Terrorism'. This conference is organized by the media departments, University Orebro and Oslo, and funded by the Swedish Research Council. Ca 60 scholars, journalists and NGO-delegates are discussing how to support journalism in tiumes of crisis; moreover, aspects of peace journalism are debated.
Ruth's lecture is on 'Media and Politics'.
